This is the second Junie B. book that I have read. Junie B. is really funny. In this book, she put purple polka dots on her graduation gown and her graduation hat. When she did this her parents and uncle and teacher weren't mad at her. Everyone in the whole class made polka dots on their hat too! I enjoyed reading it because it was a really, really mysterious book. It was a relaxing book to read too! I read it while I was in my bean bag chair. I surprised my mom by finished the whole book.

My Thoughts: The Secret Garden
The Secret Garden is about a young girl named Mary who went to live with her uncle and a sick cousin. A robin led her to explore a secret garden and there she also found a new friend named Dickon. She loved spending time in the garden because there were flowers and trees and she could spend time with her new friend. My favorite part of the book was reading about the time Mary was in the secret garden.

My Thoughts: Mercy Watson to the Rescue by Kate DiCamillo
This book was about a pig named Mercy and he went to rescue Mr. and Mrs. Watson. Mercy gets chased by Eugenia and it turned out a little scary. Also, the Watsons got in trouble because the boards in the floor were going to break and that part was funny. The best part of the book was when the firemen saved Mr. and Mrs. Watson. I think this is a good book for by friends because the pictures were funny, especially of Eugenia.
